A County Judge in Texas must meet the following qualifications at the time of appointment or election:

A U S Citizen
Resident of Texas for at least 12
Months
A resident of the county for at
least 6 consecutive months
Registered to vote in the county
At least 18 years of age
Not previously convicted of any
felony &
Not previously determined by a
probate court to be mentally
incapacitated.

I certainly meet all these requirements. The third requirement is that you must have been a resident of the county for 6 consecutive months. Does my opponent meet these requirements? Has my opponent resided at the address on his voter registration for 6 consecutive months? Is he still renting an apartment in a neighboring county? YOU the voters of Duval County deserve the truth!!

I pledge to YOU the voters that as your Duval County Judge I will be honest & transparent. I will work for you, the hard working taxpayers, to ensure that your hard earned money is used wisely!

A vote for Arnoldo "Guero" Cantu for Duval County Judge, is a vote for progress!! Thank you & God Bless!!

I along with the City of Freer Council members are excited to announce that the City of Freer are the new owners of the Freedom Bank Bldg. Our City Hall and Police Dept will be moving into this building.

This has been a great year for the City of Freer for major improvements in our community. Together we have done over a million dollars in street improvements. We aren’t through yet, a portion of Eli Garza St will be done this month.

We put in a beautiful new playground for our children to enjoy in the City Park that was constructed with the Pavilion a few years back. Park benches & trees were installed all around the park so parents can sit and enjoy their children play. Security cameras were installed and are monitored from our Police Dept 24/7. With this project over half a million dollars was invested.

If you went to this year’s Rattlesnake Roundup you might have noticed the improvements done at the Freer Airport. A pavilion was put in a few years back and this year we did major electrical repairs so that our vendors didn’t have to worry about overload and to ensure the safety of all.

We had a tragedy out there this year. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the family of Eugene De Leon. May he Rest In Peace. Well done great and faithful servant!

We congratulate the Freer Chamber of Commerce on an outstanding and successful Roundup!!

We thank you, the community of Freer for putting your trust in us!!!
God bless y’all!!

Well folks there is a person or persons at it again, one of my signs at the Rosita intersection was intentionally taken down. No it did not blow away, it was cut. All the zip ties were cut…you should have taken the evidence with you!! It’s sad that people have no respect for others property.

Happy Easter Blessings!

I would like to take the time to honor those that are on the other end of the phone line during an emergency. Dispatchers are generally the first point of contact, the first responder, and the unseen hero behind the scenes.

Their job is thankless and they deserve this week of honor and recognition!

Thank you to all these men & women for being the heart behind the scenes! God bless y’all!!
