Barry County is testing the outdoor warning system today at 1:00pm.

Outdoor warning siren testing occurs around 1 pm on the first Saturday of the month starting in April.

Please let us know if the siren did or did not sound in the following areas; the Villages of Freeport, Middleville, Nashville, Woodland, Orangeville, Hickory Corners, Yankee Springs State Park and the City of Hastings.

Sirens only cover an approximate 1-2 square miles and are intended to alert people who are outdoors.
