We currently have 10 spots available for Summer Bridge for upcoming 3rd and 4th grade students. Students who enroll will attend both sessions: June 15–18 and June 22–25, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day.

Summer Bridge provides targeted reading remediation and support to help students strengthen their literacy skills before the new school year.

If you are interested, please stop by the school today to complete the required paperwork. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the first 10 completed and signed forms will secure enrollment.

Today we celebrated our amazing 4th graders during the 4th Grade Awards Ceremony! 🎓🌟 We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at FES. From academic achievements to leadership and growth, these students have worked so hard and made lasting memories along the way. UPDATE: as of 8:54 a.m. Per the WCSO the suspect is in custody. So the ALICE Heightened Security status at FES has been lifted.

As of 7:57 a.m., Freeport Elementary School was placed in an ALICE Heightened Security status out of an abundance of caution while the Sheriff’s Office works to locate an individual in the surrounding community, not on the FES campus. Our students or staff are not in immediate danger, and all safety protocols are being followed successfully.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff will always remain our top priority. We appreciate the cooperation of our students, staff, families, and local law enforcement as we worked through the situation with care and caution.
We will continue to keep families informed and will share more information as we learn more. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
