The current Freeport Library opened to the public on September 4, 2001 and is 4,500 square feet. It holds approximately 22,000 items- including books, DVDs, Audiobooks, magazines and newspapers. There are 8 public internet terminals available with Microsoft Office, and one catalog-only computer. The library is also equipped with wireless, and presents a children's storytime every Tuesday morning at 10:30.
