We are proud of Mrs. Simmons on this well deserved accomplishment!

We are proud to congratulate the 2023 Walton County School District Principal of the Year, OUR principal, Mrs. Donna Simmons.

Mrs. Simmons has worked in the Walton County School District for 26 years. She taught English at FMS for 10 years and at FHS for 10 before becoming an administrator in 2015. She was a TSA and AP for Tripp Hope became principal in 2019. During the 2021-2022 school year, FHS celebrated earning the highest accountability points in the school’s history (718), became one of the top 10 public high schools in the state, and earned a 100% graduation rate.

Mrs. Simmons attributes her success as a principal to her students and staff. She is humble beyond measure, and we are so proud she is the matriarch of our Bulldog Family.
