Egg-stremely Cold News! 🥶🥚

We hate to be the bearer of "bad eggs," but Mother Nature just isn't hopping along with our plans. Between the snow that won't go away and temperatures that can’t decide if it’s January or July, we’ve made the tough call to cancel the 2026 Foster Twp Easter Egg Hunt.

We didn't want the kids (or the eggs) to end up as popsicles! 🧊

🐰But don't worry—we’re already planning for 2027 to be bigger, better, and hopefully much, much warmer. See you then for an egg-stra special comeback!

🇺🇸 America’s 250th Birthday! 🇺🇸

On July 4, 2026, the United States will mark 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This historic milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on the ideas and events that shaped the nation—many of which are deeply rooted right here in Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia served as the meeting place of the Second Continental Congress, where delegates debated and ultimately approved the Declaration of Independence. Pennsylvania was home to key figures of the American Revolution and played a central role in shaping the ideals of liberty, self-governance, and representation that became the foundation of the United States.

⭐ Did You Know?
The Declaration of Independence was first publicly read aloud in Philadelphia, and the Liberty Bell—an enduring symbol of American freedom—rang to call citizens together to hear the news.

As the nation approaches this once-in-a-generation anniversary, it is a meaningful time to recognize Pennsylvania’s pivotal role in the founding of the United States and reflect on the lasting impact of those early decisions.

❤️🤍💙
