You don’t lose people by pulling back, you lose the illusion that they cared. Sometimes detachment is the loudest form of self-respect. Respect yourself enough to go where your energy is welcomed. 💗

There are versions of ourselves we only understand in hindsight.
The one who was exhausted.
The one who was afraid.
The one making decisions with whatever tools were available at the time.
The one who thought some moments would never end.
I used to look back at those versions of me with judgment.
Why did I stay?
Why did I do that?
Why couldn’t I see what I can see now?
Healing changed that.
If I could sit beside that version of myself now, I would not give him a lecture.
I would not tell him what he should have done differently.
I would just tell him:
You do not have to understand any of this yet.
Just keep going.
There is a life ahead of you that you cannot see from where you are standing.
And somehow, you make it there.
Everything you ever wanted—peace, serenity, a sense of purpose and meaning—it all comes true.
As crazy as that sounds.
As impossible as it is to believe.
It comes true.

Life is your garden and you are allowed to be intentional with what you nurture. You do not have to keep watering what drains you or feel guilty for pulling out what no longer belongs. Growth is a choice you make every day through your thoughts and your boundaries, also the love you give yourself. When you choose peace and patience, you slowly create a space where you can breathe and bloom, most importantly feel at home within yourself. 🌼

Your body remembers every room where you weren't safe, every person who hurt you, every boundary that was crossed, every time you had to shrink to survive.

Healing isn't just mental work-it's the slow, patient process of teaching your body that those rooms don't exist anymore, that those people can't reach you now, that you're allowed to take up space again, that it's safe to breathe fully and exist without bracing for impact.

Some people will never understand the depths of you, not because you’re hard to love, but because they haven’t explored those depths within themselves yet. Connection only reaches as far as self-awareness allows. Until someone meets their own soul, they can’t fully meet yours. 🍂
