Join us at Foodstock on October 17!

Foodstock, a partner of Freehold Area Open Door, is a grassroots community effort formed to assist with the needs of our less fortunate community members who are struggling to put food on their tables due to the current economic environment. This successful effort began in 2010 in central New Jersey, and has since collected over a million pounds of food and tens of thousands of dollars for area food pantries!

🥫 Today is National Food Bank Day! ❤️

At Freehold Area Open Door, every can, box, bag, and jar you donate does more than fill our shelves — it helps us stretch our dollars further so we can help even more neighbors. When you donate food directly to Open Door—or give through our incredible partners at Foodstock NJ—you provide items we would otherwise need to purchase. That means the dollars we save can go toward fresh foods, proteins, transportation, emergency assistance, and the many other ways we support local families.

And there’s a BIG opportunity to help coming up!

Foodstock is one of Open Door’s most important community partners. Their support helps keep our pantry stocked not only at this incredible annual event, but year-round.
