***BUSY NIGHT FOR FREEHOLD***
Last night, Freehold EMS provided standby coverage for the rescheduled Borough of Freehold fireworks at Freehold Raceway. Ambulances 1558, 1559, and 1561 were staffed along with our neighbors with Marlboro Emergency Medical Services 28-158 who were requested to assist with covering this popular event. Units operated for several hours without incident before being released. During this time ambulances 1557 & 1560 were on the road handling multiple routine 911 calls for service.
Later that evening, our agency was requested by Howell Police EMS as mutual aid into Howell Township for a motor vehicle accident. Ambulances 1557 & 1560 responded and assisted with the treatment/ transport of several patients to area hospitals.
While operating in Howell, we were dispatched into Freehold Township with East Freehold Fire Company and Freehold Township Ind. Fire Company #1
at Route 9 & Elton Adelphia Rd for a motor vehicle accident with several patients. Off duty volunteer personnel staffed ambulances 1558 & 1561 and handled the incident resulting in the transport of several patients to area hospitals.
