Freedom Fire Department

Today we were able to welcome over 150 kindergarten students from the school district to the station for our annual fire safety program. It is one of our favorite days of the year. We appreciate the schools working this field trip into there schedule and allowing us the chance to share this important information with students.

We set another new record last night with our MDA Fill the Boot campaign. This year’s total was…
$9055.27. We beat our previous best by over $1000.
Thanks to everyone that stopped and took a minute to drop a few bucks in a boot!!!

Good afternoon everyone!
Just want to give a heads up to all who will be traveling through town this afternoon.
Freedom FD will be conducting our annual Fill the Boot fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The money we raise today will go directly to those affected by this terrible disease.
Keep in mind there will be tons of Packer traffic along with after school and after work traffic. Please be patient and understand that it is not us creating the delay. It is just the nature of the situation.
Thanks and Go Pack Go!!

Please see the below note. Freedom FD recently applied and were awarded a grant from the WE Energies Foundation.

We Energies Foundation

On behalf of the Freedom Fire Department, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the We Energies Foundation for their generous donation. We plan to use the funds to purchase a new rescue saw to be placed on our new mini pumper which is due to be put into service in early 2027.

It is because of organizations like this that we can purchase extra items such as this that are not in our operational budget.

See the attached map for the event tomorrow night.
Thank you.

We are excited to see all of you tomorrow evening at our annual National Night Out event. And especially excited for our first year hosting NNO in Freedom! To help keep traffic and parking congestion to a minimum, our friends at Freedom Fire Department have asked us to encourage you to access VFW Memorial Park via Conrad St. Hope to see you there!

Please take a look at this and consider setting this up for yourself. This is newer technology that could prove to be very beneficial should the need arise.
