SCAM ALERT!

Many of us have been recieving texts stating we owe money for speeding tickets, unpaid tolls, etc... The picture below is just one making the rounds, and is completely fake. If you do indeed have unpaid fines, you will receive an official letter via snail mail. Please do not send money to anyone in response to notices such as these.

Also...don't do drugs. Just a quick reminder that crack, he**in, m**h, and your grandma's old oxycodone are still considered drugs. Long story short - drugs bad, donuts good. Choose wisely my friend.

This friendly feller was found frolicking on Nedra Drive (say that five times fast, I dare ya). Unfortunately, he seems to have misplaced his person. Do you know where his person might be?

This female was picked up on the Navajo Reservation, east of the Navajo Bridge by tourists traveling through the area who then decided to leave her in Fredonia. We know it's a long shot, but can you share and see if anyone recognizes her?

These mysterious dogs in black won't let the paparazzi any closer to get better pics 🤔 They're running around the hills by the town burn pile without any collars (I know, right? How scandalous to be frolicking in public naked 🫣) Do you know where they belong?

As a border town we're prone to receive alerts from out of state. If you receive a text that looks similar to those pictured here, please know it is a scam. "UDOT does not send texts or make phone calls to collect tolling fees, and urges anyone that receives a message about an outstanding toll balance to not provide any payment information. If you receive a text, do not click on the link and block the sender. If you receive a phone call, hang up and block the caller."

Furthermore, the Arizona state highway system doesn't have toll roads, so if you receive a text from AZDOT claiming you owe toll fees you definitely know it's a scam. Also, the Arizona Department of Transportation goes by ADOT, not AZDOT.

Sometimes you can love someone so much it scares you and you have an uncontrollable urge to run away...Is that why we gotta chase you sometimes?

Anyway, if you need to report an offense, please do not try to contact an officer directly. Call DISPATCH so they can properly log the incident and dispatch the proper officer. Cuz that's their job...dispatching. Oh, we almost forgot! Their number is 911. Write it down.

Beginning at 8:00 am Saturday, February 28, the Fredonia Fire Department and Kanab City Fire Department will be conducting a live-fire training exercise at 16 E Ponderosa Drive in Fredonia.

Please do not call dispatch regarding this planned exercise. They are aware of the fire. The Fire Department is aware of the fire. We are aware of the fire.

However, at this time, we would like to go on record and state that neither us nor Billy Joel started the fire.

This dude appears to have "No RaGeRts" regarding his shenanigans around town. Sadly though, all good things must come to an end - he was caught in front of Judd Auto and is currently spending the night in the pound. Do you know where his home is?
