The 61st Ave road committee sent a letter asking residents for their opinion on what to do with the extra treasury money. Various options included just maintaining 61st, just maintaining 205th, maintaining both, and other options as well. We thank the crews that have helped fill in the holes, but they will continue to grow unless we maintain a strict regimen of maintenance or figure out a more permanent solution. Ideas are welcome.

A locked mailbox was broken into during the night. Please keep an eye out for suspicious people walking the street in the middle of the night. If you see someone suspicious call the cops immediately.

Remember to drive slowly on the gravel roads. The potholes get bigger the faster you go. The speed limit is 10mph within the neighborhood, this speed ensures the safety of the children and the longevity of the road. Thank you.

Neighborhood Watch: If you happen to see this large welding truck, please notify the police. The name on the side is "Bright Light Welding". The truck was stolen on December 28th and was seen in the neighborhood for the night of the 28th and the following morning. The police were notified and the business owners got some stolen equipment back, however the truck is not known to be recovered yet.

Neighborhood Watch: Please be aware of people claiming to be vacuum cleaner (Kirby) salesmen. They may be casing houses rather than selling vacuums. They also don't seem to have any vacuums or business details to give out. Use caution when talking with salespeople as there have been reports of an aggressive man and woman trying to sell Kirby vacuums in Tacoma. See the link below for another example from 2014.

Neighborhood watch: Be on the lookout for a white 2005 Kia Sportage. This car's owners have been seen assisting in the theft of a large box truck owned by a local welding company. The car was last seen on December 29th, 2015.
