Looking for an easy way to explore downtown Fredericksburg this summer? The free Around the Town Trolley is back every Friday and Saturday evening through September 5.

The trolley connects visitors and locals to downtown's shops, restaurants, galleries, museums, parks, and more with seven convenient stops throughout the city.

Pick up a route map at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, which is open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Visit AroundTownTrolley.com for more information and stop details.

🎉 Big news for Downtown Fredericksburg!

Congratulations to Fredericksburg Main Street on receiving a Virginia Main Street Milestone Award recognizing more than $40 million in private investment in downtown Fredericksburg since 2013.

The award was presented by Virginia's Secretary of Commerce and Trade, Carrie Chenery, recognizing the remarkable growth and revitalization that has taken place in our historic downtown. Following the award presentation, Fredericksburg Main Street Executive Director Chris Allen led Secretary Chenery on a walking tour highlighting the businesses, projects, and investments that have helped shape downtown's continued success.

This achievement reflects the dedication of local businesses, property owners, volunteers, community partners, and residents who continue to make downtown a vibrant place to live, work, shop, and visit.

Historic Chatham will reopen to visitors this weekend following a major rehabilitation project that will help preserve this important landmark for future generations.

Built in 1771, Chatham has played a role in many chapters of American history and remains one of Fredericksburg's most treasured historic sites.

Tours will be available Thursday–Monday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., beginning June 6.

For Louise Jolley, Flykup is more than a shop. It’s a reflection of her roots, her story, and the traditions she grew up with in Aberdeen, Scotland. After 26 years in Fredericksburg, she’s created a space that blends her Scottish heritage with the community that has welcomed her with open arms.
