🎨🇺🇸 Thank you to everyone who joined us for the unveiling of Fredericksburg's America 250 Community Mural!

This community-created masterpiece, made possible by the many residents who painted individual tiles, is now on display in the Community Room at City Hall. Special thanks to our Parks & Recreation team, City staff, and all who helped bring the project to life.

We look forward to this unique piece of public art being enjoyed by residents and visitors for years to come.

Conserving water doesn't have to be a challenge. Here are six simple things that can make a big difference!

🚰 Fix leaks. Leaks can account for 10% or more of your bill so fixing a slow leak can lead to big savings.

🚿Take short showers. A full bath can use nearly 70 gallons of water while a five minute shower uses around 10 gallons.

🌧Harvest rainwater. Collect water from gutters to water plants, a garden or a yard.

🪵Use mulch. Mulch helps retain moisture, moderates soil temperatures, reduces runoff and assists with w**d control.

💧Relieve spray pressure. Sprinklers using more pressure than needed increases water waste.

💦Prevent evaporation. Cover spas and swimming pools when not used to reduce evaporation.
