Today, two members of SGA, Joey Zeldin, SGA President, and Kaylah Lightfoot, SGA Senate Vice President, had the opportunity to sit down and be a guest on ’s new Fountain Talks podcast! They discussed voting, civic responsibility, how students can get voting resources, and most importantly how to get out and vote. We hope you’ll listen to their episode when it drops on November 8th, which is also Election Day!

The SGA President’s Office Hours are officially here! All students are welcome to drop in with anything or schedule an appointment! Appointments will take priority and can ONLY be made through [email protected]. Appointments can also be made outside of office hours, but availability is limited. Otherwise, feel free to drop in to the SGA office in SAE 303P, right next to the SAE Lobby and Class Council’s room! We hope to see you stop in soon!

Hi everyone!! For those interested in running for a spot on SGA, we invite you to come to our interest sessions! We have two so that we can accommodate students who have busy schedules on MWFs or TTRs, but you’ll only need to attend one! You must attend ONE interest session to qualify to run! We hope to see you there!

IT’S ELECTION SEASON, EAGLES🦅💙❤️!

This means that if you are interested in running for any position within SGA—including Senate, then you should be attending one of these interest sessions to confirm your eligibility! 😁

On Wednesday, March 16th at 5:00pm you can meet us in SAE as we discuss the basics of what SGA really is and does for UMW—you DONUT want to miss it😉.

Then on Thursday at 5:00pm via Zoom, we will be discussing what SGA positions really look like from those who are currently holding them🤩.
