Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation

Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation We have a heartfelt desire to assist the aged out of foster care young adults before their transition Survival was primitive and the beatings were brutal.

The foundation was derived from a true story that happened to two little girls. In 1965 in Spotsylvania County, VA, a murder was committed and went untold. I am blessed to have lived to tell this story of a little girl that never should have made it and one that didn't. This is a story of child abuse in the most gruesome way. All incidences are true and accurate. There are reports, files and lette

rs that support the events told in my first book, I Survived a murder Untold. It is my strong belief that there is a great need to support foster care. Foster care young adults do not always get the opportunities that we give our natural families. With this in mind the Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation was established. Being placed into the wrong hands resulted in the tragic death of my sister (Castle Lewis). The foundation is committed to raising awareness and support for foster children in the Commonwealth through collaborative leadership between the public and private sectors.

The Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation is deeply sadden by the lost of our dear staff member, Mary Jackson our(Donation Coordinator) of more than 8 years. She will be greatly missed. She was a hard worker and always wanted to know what could she do to help our foundation thrive to be better. She was always on time for just about every meeting unless she was needed elsewhere which was very seldom. Mary worked closely with the CEO , Myra Fox, she was more then just a part of the foundation she was family, she was always ready to go when we had to feed the homeless, or plan charity events and much more. Mary was humble and a very meek person there was non like her. She will always be missed and remembered in our hearts forever, may God bless her and her family. We love you Mary.

Love you to the moon and back from all the foundation members here at The Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation.

This is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. smile emoticon

Today we celebrate my mother (Myra C.Fox) and my aunt (Castle Lewis) with a dedication ceremony; The grand opening of The Castle Lewis I Survived Foundation. A company that was started by my mother, Myra C. Fox, who's vision has always been to help those in need.

It's been a long hard road, as she's has put her blood sweat and tears into making her vision come true, not only for the aged out of foster care youths, or for those in need, not even really for herself, but as a dedication to her sister (Castle Lewis) Who along with my mother was a victim of child abuse at a very early age. As a result, my mother held her sister in her arms as she passed away.

We thank God for my mother's survival, not only that shes become the strong woman, mother and visionary she is today. But to be a help to someone in need.

Congratulations on your big day. I love you always....
