In 1975, the Falmouth Fire Department purchased four commercial pumpers for its sub-stations. Mt. View and Brooke received units equipped with 750 GPM pumps and 750-gallon water tanks, while Hartwood and White Oak received units with 1000-gallon tanks. All units featured gas engines and manual 5-speed split-shift transmissions, with a cost of approximately $35,000 each.
