It’s time for Flight Crew Friday! We’re going to kick this off with the newest member of our team, Flight Nurse Nate Brown! Here’s some Q&A:
When did you become a nurse? What is your previous experience?
“I became a nurse in 2020. I began my career in a pediatric ER before transitioning to the pediatric ICU. I briefly worked ground-based mobile intensive care, and then moved to a neonatal / pediatric specialty flight team where I worked for a few years prior to joining PHI.”
What are your hobbies?
“My wife and I enjoy just about anything outdoors—we love the beach, the snow, or simply getting fresh air with our golden retriever, Barrett. I personally enjoy golfing, coaching soccer, and good food.
Professionally, I’m known to enjoy digging in the weeds of critical care resuscitation and learning from the brilliant minds around me.”
