My dad Royce Dabney passed away last week. Officially he was my step dad, but he was the only dad I ever knew (my "real" dad passed away when I was a baby and I never really knew him). The Lord put him in my life at the right time to try to keep me on the right path. He had been in declining health for a few months, but now he is no longer suffering. He knew Jesus, and told me about a month ago not to worry about him, that he was ready to go. Even though he is in a better place, he will still be missed.
