Northern Lebanon School District The Northern Lebanon SD serves approximately 2500 students in grades K-12 on two campuses. The Appalachian Trail passes through the area.

The Northern Lebanon School District was formed in 1956 and is comprised of six municipalities which are Swatara Township, Union Township, Cold Spring Township, Bethel Township, East Hanover Township, and Jonestown Borough. The district covers an area of 144 square miles and encompasses a population of 15,243. Within the district there are over 4,600 acres of public lands, four golf courses, two s

tate parks, and many campgrounds. The enrollment of the district is approximately 2,500 students who are enrolled in one of the district's four elementary schools, or middle/high schools.
