TCCSWCD along with VCE hosted a field trip at Rappahannock Education Farm with students from Spotsylvania County Public Schools!! At the field trip students learned about where our food comes from and how pollution impacts our watershed. Students planted over 180 zucchini plants and got to take a tour of the farm! A special thank you to the Rappahannock Education Farm team for allowing us to continue learning outside and learn about our communities! A rainy day spent outside beats a sunny day spent inside!!
This field trip was made possible through the The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region and Amazon Web Services.
