It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Bill Lindemann, one of the most influential leaders of HCLT over the past twenty years. In Bill’s own words, “What is most important to me is that we saved some land, and I made a whole lot of friends throughout the Hill Country that I would have never met had I not been part of the Hill Country Land Trust.”
It is us that are blessed to have known Bill and called him a friend, and the Texas Hill Country will be forever in his debt. His smile will be sorely missed.

One of our top conservation priorities focuses on ensuring that the viewshed around Enchanted Rock remains undeveloped, wild, and starry at night! Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is an IDA Dark Sky Park and we're here to support that forever.
