Support the wide-array of program elements for the medical Army Force Generation efforts across the force pools and centrally manage the Army Prepositioned Stocks and The Surgeon General contingency programs and other readiness support programs designed for all Army components during unified land operations. Provide Army Medical Department National Maintenance Program expertise and Sustainment Maintenance technical proficiency for development of policies and procedures to ensure medical maintenance supportability and training requirements, equipment reliability and maintainability, and maintenance repair and services of medical equipment and technologies. Deploy the Forward Repair Activity-Medical as required.

A time to celebrate our team and their incredible achievements 🎉

On Nov. 20, the USAMMA team gathered for a potluck to celebrate their collective success. The highlight of the event was the induction of three distinguished individuals into the Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3) for their incredible dedication, commitment and contributions to Army Medicine.

Fort Detrick is OPEN on 15 Dec 25 and operating under a 2 hour delayed arrival. Please consult with your agency for final guidance about options for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework. Emergency Employees must report to work on time unless otherwise directed by their agency. Non-Emergency Employees reporting to the office should plan their commute to arrive no later than 2 hours after the employee's normal reporting time. All Gates are operating under normal hours.

On 02 OCT 25, USAMMA hosted its end-of-fiscal year potluck celebration. The event was an opportunity for everyone to not only share fellowship and delicious dishes, but also for the Command Team to emphasize the small wins throughout the Fiscal Year 2025 that led to long-term success, while acknowleging the team's commitment, resilience and contribution. During the event, the Command Team also shared their intent for the new Fiscal Year.

From 04-15 AUG 25, SFC Taylor Aaron, SGT Segundo Eduardo and PFC Baptista Erick completed Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training. During these two weeks, all three Soldiers received a quick introduction to the forklift training in a “Train-the-Trainer” format. Critical to this training was the practical hands-on training with the 5K Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF), 10K All Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS) and RT-240 Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH). Soldiers first conducted daily PMCS, start & stopping, shut-down procedures to include proper hands and arms signal for picking up heavy loads with the 10K (ATLAS).

On 10 JUL 25, USAMMA conducted a Hail and Farewell during which the USAMMA CMD Team welcomed LTC Singleton to the organization while they bid farewell to MAJ Miller, Maj Tutt, CW3 Hendricks, CPT Juan, and SFC Taylor. The ceremony was an opportunity to not only thank the Soldiers and their families for the sacrifices made while assigned to the organization, but also to foster camaraderie and team cohesion.
