Last week at our Annual Grant Awards celebration, we awarded $290,000 to 11 local nonprofit organizations that raise up and empower women in our community. We are grateful to our members and other supporters for their generosity and to the staff and volunteers at these organizations who work tirelessly to fulfill their missions.

Yesterday at our Annual Grant Awards celebration, we awarded $290,000 to 11 local nonprofit organizations that raise up and empower women in our community. It is always an inspiring and exciting event as we hear from each of our grant recipients.

We are grateful to our members and other supporters for their generosity and to the staff and volunteers at these organizations who work tirelessly to fulfill their missions.

We had a great turnout this morning for our monthly Coffee Chat at Dublin Roasters!
These informal meetups are a great way for members to connect and for non-members to learn more about the Giving Circle.

The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County is honored to announce the recipients of our 2026 Grant Awards.

Registration for the 2026 Frederick Women's Distance Festival 5k is OPEN and we invite all of our members and other supporters to join us on Saturday, August 1 at Frederick Community College. The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club has once again designated the Giving Circle as the charitable beneficiary of the race, one of four Signature Races organized by FSRC. The race raised $34,220 for WGC in 2025!

If you sign up to run/walk, join the Women's Giving Circle team when you register. It's open to all - no need to be a member of WGC.

Members of our Leadership Circle met up with Dwayne Myers recently to thank him for Dynamic Automotive's very generous donation to the Giving Circle.
$5 from every oil change in December and January resulted in $6,100 landing in our grants fund!

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate women across the globe, in our own community, and the incredible women of our Giving Circle who prove that when we pool our resources, our impact is exponential.

Huge thanks to our corporate member, Dynamic Automotive, for their incredible $6,100 donation, representing $5 from every oil change performed in December/January! Sarah Abrecht presented this generous donation to Alexa Bedwell, WGC Program Chair, at our Tuesday Breakfast meeting.
