We are thrilled to announce that MNADV has received a $25,000 donation through Silent Donor to support our Lethality Assessment Program (LAP 2.0)!

This generous contribution will enable us to strengthen our efforts in saving lives and enhancing safety for survivors of intimate partner violence. The LAP 2.0 is a critical tool in identifying individuals at the highest risk and connecting them to life-saving resources.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the anonymous donor and the Silent Donor organization for their incredible support of our mission to reduce domestic violence and protect Maryland families.

State’s Attorney, Charlie Smith and Brett Engler, Chief of the Domestic Violence Unit and Chair of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council of Frederick County attended “Sacred Spaces,” at Wayman AME Church in Frederick. The event featured several survivor speakers and a dialogue with the faith community about the role faith leaders can play in supporting intimate partner violence victims. Assistant State's Attorney Engler welcomed the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with our local, faith-based organizations to broaden awareness of domestic violence as well as offer resources to victims and their families. As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, ASA Engler reminded community leaders that intimate partner violence affects our entire community, and permeates all levels of socio-economic status. Thank you Heartly House for your support!!
