Good Morning,

The sing along service is ready to get our council singing before the convention in 2026. Our group is interested in coming to your area of the council to sing at large event venues. We need your help getting the word out! In addition, we would like some time ahead of the event to train Seniors and Ambassadors to become song leaders!

Our sing weekends (Sing into Fall and Spring) are very popular but many people tell us that they don't know about these events. Sing into Fall is coming up the weekend of November 21-23rd. Adults and Older Scouts are welcome with a two hour younger troop sing on Saturday (Singing Saturday). There is a small fee to attend any part or the whole weekend .

Please contact Cindy Gilman ([email protected]) or Karen Brown ([email protected]) to get more information or share your event with us.

Thank you!
YIGGGS,
Cindy

Dear Troop Leader,

We are excited to invite your 6th–12th grade Girl Scout troop to join the Frederick Older Girls and Advisors group, also known as FROG. This group is made up of Girl Scouts and adults from across Frederick County who come together monthly to plan events, activities, trips, and service projects.

We understand that transitioning into the Cadette level can be overwhelming as girls begin taking on more responsibility. FROG exists to support leaders through that process by sharing the load and building a strong community. Each troop is asked to host one event within their first two years of joining, and you’ll have guidance and support from experienced members to help make that a success.

Participation is flexible—girls can attend events individually, even if their troop isn’t participating as a whole. However, we highly encourage both adults and girls to attend monthly meetings to stay informed about upcoming events and deadlines.

Meeting Details:

When: 3rd Wednesday of each month

Time: 7:00–8:30 PM

Where: Trinity United Methodist Church

Note: Our first meeting of the year will be delayed by one week due to school starting August 20.

We use a private Rallyhood group exclusively for communication and event sign-ups. Once your application is processed, you’ll receive an invitation to join our Rallyhood group.

Special Offer:
The first 20 troops to sign up this year will receive free membership (a $10 annual value). Every little bit helps!

ICE SKATING CANCELED

To my Girl Scout Families,
I am sorry to inform everyone that our 2025 SHARE Ice Skating Event has been canceled. I had weekly meetings with Skate Frederick on the reconstruction of their ice service for the last few months. Each week seemed promising, but there always seemed to be a setback. This last month they were very confident the inside ice sheet would be up and running for our event.
Non Functionally, after some failures last week they cannot guarantee the ice service will be ready for us. Skate Frederick has been a supporter of our SHARE event for the last 20 years and we look forward to 2026.
All pre order forms received will be returned with check VOIDED to the person on the return envelope.
This letter will be forwarded to all known Association 37 social media sites and emails. Kindly pass this information to Service Unit and Troop sites.
Attached is the letter from Skate Frederick.
Thanks to everyone who makes this event special every year.
Fondly,
Belinda James
