We are excited to partner with the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and the Asian American Center of Frederick on this project showcasing the diverse immigrant community in Frederick County.

We are thrilled to announce that as part of our 2025-2026 season, we will produce a community-centered, original production! The show's themes and content will stem directly from our community as they share stories as first generation Americans.
MET is honored to artistically bring our community with us onto the stage in a way that fosters connection and belonging through storytelling.

MET is grateful to the National Endowment for the Arts for their funding support.
Our community organization partners include the Asian American Center of Frederick , and Frederick County Immigrant Affairs Commission

**Seeking sponsors, community partners, and community members to share their stories.

**Tickets to see First Gen will be available beginning on July 1, 2025.
