In 12 exciting sessions, you'll learn: ✨ How to manage stress

🏃‍♂️ Fun ways to stay active
🚭 How to prevent or stop smoking
💚 Build lifelong healthy habits

A few weeks ago one of our senior volunteers, Anabella, spent some time teaching the local Girl Scouts how to cook one of her favorite meals! We loved having the Scouts with us at the Asian American Center of Frederick!

Happy Thanksgiving from the AmeriCorps Seniors of Frederick County!
We were blessed to celebrate with a delicious multicultural meal earlier this week. We also learned a little bit about the history of the indigenous groups native to our region!

We were so grateful to take part in The City of Frederick’s amazing event, Harvest of Hope, on November 20 and our volunteers helped to distribute 1,200 turkeys and bags of food to members of our community!

🎉 **Thank You for an Amazing 3rd Annual AmeriCorps Seniors Bocce Ball Tournament!** 🎉

Yesterday, we gathered at the beautiful Baker Park Bocce Ball Courts for a day of fun, camaraderie, and a little friendly competition...all while dressed in their Spooky Best! Thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you played, cheered on the teams, or volunteered. Congratulations to our winners and all the participants who made the day unforgettable! 🏆👏
