SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
In accordance with MCL 141.436 and MCL 211.24e, notice is hereby given that: The Frederic Township Board of Trustees will be holding a Special Meeting on Tuesday May19th at 9:00am to hold its annual budget work session and to review, approve, or deny the Special Liquor License request from the Friends of Frederic 501c3 for the upcoming Frederic Music Festival. The meeting will be held in the meeting room of the Frederic Township Hall at 6470 Manistee Street in Frederic, MI 49733.

Waste Management will attempt trash pick up tomorrow. Cans must be out of the snow where the trucks can reach them. They will only attempt trash pick up where the County Road Commission has been able to open the roads. If your trash is not picked up tomorrow, it will be next Monday. Please move cans back off the roads after trash pick up or if your trash does not get picked up tommorrow. I have spoke with the road commission today and they are doing their best to open roads. Our area expiernced a lot of sleet and freezing rain which is making removal of the snow difficult and time consuming. Remember our road commission handles our entire county. In the southern part of our county our neighbors are dealing with more icing and power outages. Be safe and thank you for your patience and understanding.

From Waste Management,
Due to the winter storm and non-emergency travel advisories, we will not be working today. Our current plan is to run a day behind just like a holiday week. We will attempt service Tuesday 3.17.26. If anything changes, we will update again.

Frederic Township Offices will be closed for at least the next couple days due to paint fumes from the painting of the gymnasium.

Our Recycling Center is open earlly today for Frederic Township Redidents.

Update from Waste Managent, they will not be picking up the rest of the trash in Frederic Township until next Monday. Any extra bags will be picked up that day.

Waste Management is not able to access all customers today in Frederic Township because of the weather. They will resume pick up services tomorrow.

The Recycling Center is open early today if anyone wants to beat the weather.
