A good time was had by all at the Annual Meeting! We shared conservation stories, learned about Native Bees from The Bees Waggle, learned about Majestic Moon Ranch as they accepted their Conservationists of the Year Award. Thank you to the Farm Douglas County Farm Bureau, the Sunflower Grange, and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services for being there to support.

Did you know that throwing paint into your trash can or dumpster harms the environment?
*Just one gallon of paint has the ability to pollute up to 250,000 gallons of drinking water!
*Dumping it on the ground harms the millions of microbes in the soil that we desperately need.
*Keeping the old paint out of landfills alleviates leaching greenhouses gases.

Please help our earth by taking those piled up cans in the garage to a local paint recycling event!
