Dear Gifford Parents and Guardians,

As we work together to keep our school community healthy, please review the attached guidelines on when to keep your child home from school.

Students should remain home if they have a fever of 100°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, a severe cough or congestion, a quickly spreading rash, or any illness that interferes with learning. Students may return when their condition improves and they have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.

Please also ensure your emergency contact information is up to date in Infinite Campus so we can reach you if your child becomes ill or injured at school.

Thank you for helping us keep our students and staff healthy and safe!

Sincerely,
Gifford School
