🇺🇸 2026 National Night Out 🇺🇸

As Summer approaches we are very excited to announce that we will once again host National Night Out. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, August 4th at the Franklin Township Sports Complex.

This community wide celebration gives residents an opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy a night with local first responders and community organizations.

This year’s event will be our biggest yet and we hope you can join us. We will once again have a FREE BBQ sponsored by Bottino’s Shoprite. Kids can enjoy face painting, K9 demonstrations, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and so much more. The evening will end with a fireworks display sponsored by Newfield National Bank.

If your community organization or business would like to set up a table please scan the QR code on the flyer.

⭐️ Equipment Donation ⭐️

The Franklin Township Police Department would like to sincerely thank life long resident Joe Petsch for a very generous donation to our department.

Mr. Petsch donated a Holmatro T1 breaching tool which will be used by our Patrol Division. The tool is unique as it uses hydraulics to allow officers to cut, wedge, ram, spread, hammer, and lift which could save valuable time during an active shooter event.

As school security continues to be our number one priority, this tool increases our preparedness and ability to keep our schools safe.

We cannot thank you enough for enhancing our abilities to provide the highest level of public safety to our community!!!
