On Friday, June 12th, we celebrated the successes of Ms. Joann Picchi and Ms. Lillie Lowery to recognize their completion of the Delsea BRIDGE Academy program. Joann and Lillie have grown so much throughout their time with us, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished. We wish them the best of luck, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

Talk about a legendary, history-making moment for South Jersey!

As we kick off graduation week, DRHS alumnus Mason Maxwell (Class of 2018) just absolutely crushed it under the lights of Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska. Playing in front of a sold-out crowd of over 87,000 people, Mason etched his name into the history books by launching the first-ever Firefighter home run in a football stadium!

But he wasn't done making history there. Holding down first base, Maxwell completely redefined the position for the night, shattering the record for the most trick plays by a first baseman in a single game.

From his high school days as a Crusader to putting on an absolute, record-breaking masterclass in Banana Ball showmanship on one of college football’s biggest stages, Mason is making his hometown incredibly proud. Delsea's finest is officially a history-maker!

Traditionally, the Powder Puff game has been the fundraiser for the Regina Jackson Scholarship. But with no game on the gridiron this year, we had to think outside the box, and our incredible staff really stepped up to the mark!

Brave staff members volunteered their skin as canvas, allowing students and colleagues to purchase tattoos for them to wear on locations of their choosing. From quirky designs to bold statements, our staff rocked their temporary ink all in the name of supporting our students' futures and to keep the spirit of the Regina Jackson Scholarship alive and thriving.

What a beautifully inspiring morning celebrating our incredible seniors at our Senior Sunday event!

A huge shoutout to our new NHS advisors, Mr. Curry and Mr. Zane, for perfectly coordinating such a wonderful start to the day. Our students were treated to an outstanding lineup of featured speakers—voted on by the students themselves! Thank you for leaving the senior class with truly unforgettable and inspiring words.

We are beyond proud to share that this year, 131 seniors were recognized with scholarships totaling more than $107,000! 🌟

A very special THANK YOU goes out to our incredibly generous community donors. Your continued support and investment in our students' futures make a world of difference.
