Railroad crossings are opened up at Alexander.

***UPDATE ON RAILROAD CLOSING ***

BNSF stated at 5am Wednesday morning both the Alexander crossing in Alexander and Contrary Ln crossing at Alexander will be closed until Thursday sometime.

We just received word the railroad crossing at Alexander on Alexander/Franklin Blacktop will be closed today and tomorrow, and the crossing at Contrary Lane at Alexander will be closed for repairs.

We would like to wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day!!!! One day to show appreciation is not enough for what a mother goes through, not only having to put up with her own kids but dealing with her mother in laws kid. Here's to the mothers protecting our district: Alicia, Kathy, Jill, Della, Kristine, Isabella and Tabitha, we thank you all!!!!

Thank you Waverly fire and Alexander fire for the assistance on a fully involved structure fire last night into this morning. Awesome teams working together to get it put out. We'd also like to thank John Whalen for opening up his garage for us to get out of the severe weather system that moved through while we were on scene. Brandon Steinacher for the drinks and all the input to help us determine the cause of the fire. Thoughts and prayers going out to the home owners.
