🫖 Help us bring a little vintage charm to our Afternoon Tea fundraiser!

We're still collecting donations and would love to give your treasured vintage pieces a new life.

We're especially looking for:
• Antique or vintage silver-plated flatware (complete sets are wonderful, but we especially need teaspoons, butter knives, and salad forks)
• Vintage teapots that hold 4 or more cups of tea
• Vintage or decorative salad or dessert plates (approximately 5–7 inches in diameter)

Thank you for taking a look through your cupboards, attic, basement, or garage—you may have just what we're looking for!

Donations can be dropped off at any JCPL location.

Please note: Donations will not be returned. Items may be used during future afternoon tea fundraisers, featured in silent auction baskets, or, if they aren't a good fit for the event, donated to another nonprofit organization.

The Johnson County Public Library Foundation is preparing for an exciting new afternoon tea fundraiser in November, and we need your help!

We are currently seeking donations of fancy teacups and saucers, old/antique silver-plated flatware, fancy sets of dishes/China and fancy teapots to help make this special event a success. If you have antique or vintage items you'd like to pass along, we'd love to give them a new purpose.

Please note that donated items will not be returned. They may be:
• Used at future afternoon tea events
• Included in silent auction baskets to help raise additional funds for the Explore Summer Endowment
• Donated to a local nonprofit if they are not needed for the event

We're currently seeking donations of any silver-plated silverware/flatware. We need *a lot* of teaspoons, particularly! We could also use small forks and butter knives... as well as any full sets if you have them! If you have antique or vintage flatware you'd like to pass along, we'd love to give it a new purpose.
