(6/11/26 at 9:50 PM) The National Weather Service has issued SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 3:00 AM on Friday (6/12/26).

06/12/2026

[9:55 PM] A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio until 3 AM EDT. The main threat is damaging winds in our local area.

06/12/2026

[8:25 PM] We are carefully monitoring the approach of the storms upstream from Illinois and Indiana. We expect that, despite a gradual weakening as they move into the local area, that strong/severe wind will still be possible, especially in east-central Indiana and west-central Ohio around midnight. More updates to follow.

06/10/2026

Some storms may develop this afternoon into this evening. Damaging wind will be the primary threat. The marginal risk has been expanded to include the entire area for today.

06/09/2026

Several clusters of storms will move east/southeast into the local area around sunset and beyond. The greatest potential for a few strong/severe storms (with gusty winds and large hail being the primary threats) will be near/west of I-75 between about 8 PM and 12 AM. Heavy rain/flash flooding potential is greatest in far southeast IN and northern KY during the middle of the night.

06/06/2026

Showers and some storms will move across areas north of I-70 this morning into early afternoon, but these are not expected to be strong. However, additional storms that develop mid to late afternoon could become severe with damaging wind the greatest threat. The highest potential is from west central Ohio into central Ohio.
