25 years have passed but the sacrifices continue. 343 firefighters lost their lives that day, answering a call they most certainly knew they wouldn’t come home from. Their families left to continue on, knowing their loved one gave their life to save someone else’s. Today, the first responders who survived, or worked at ground zero, struggle with illnesses related to exposure. We must not forget those who are still sacrificing for that day. Today, and everyday, we remember.

This October, Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department is proud to stand alongside our community in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀🚒

We’re excited to offer these special Breast Cancer Awareness shirts, featuring our department logo, the iconic pink ribbon, and “Stronger Together.” 💗
Because this fight is bigger than any one person. It’s about honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and reminding every person affected by breast cancer that they are never alone. 💪💗

* Attention High School Seniors! *

From the OTA website:
The 2027 Scholarship Program application will be open from September 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.

The Ohio Township Association Scholarship Program began in 2005. Many years prior to this, former board member Paul Smith and his wife, Ethel, gave the initial donation to the OTA Scholarship Fund, providing the groundwork for future scholarships. The scholarships are also funded by donations from County Township Associations, personal gifts, and proceeds from the OTA's annual golf outing.

This year, we will be awarding up to 5 high school seniors $1,500 each for their future education. To learn more about each scholarship, including all requirements and eligibility, please click the links below:

🚧 ATTENTION GREYCLIFF SUBDIVISION RESIDENTS 🚧

Please do not remove the wooden stakes that are placed in the front yards. The contractor that is implementing the road improvement project will use those stakes to attach "No Parking" notices when they return to complete the project. The stakes will be then removed by contractor. We appreciate your assistance!

This Saturday...GAME IS ON! Well, our COMMUNITY MARKET at 12 STONES COFFEE, that is. 12 Stones is open at our usual time of 6:30 am, but our market begins at 9:00 am, with live music beginning at 10:00 am. And don't forget...we're saying "Thank You," to Zoe Back, our former manager. Come by and see her, shop, enjoy your favorite 12 Stones drinks and treats, and enjoy a beautiful day in wonderful community.
