Our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project had an amazing day at the Iroquois Steeplechase! Our students volunteered in the Family Zone to distribute stick horses to the kids in attendance and helped with the actual stick horse races. Then they enjoyed a day at the races! Thank you to the Iroquois Steeplechase organizers for inviting us to be a part of this year's event! 🏇🍀

Our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project enjoyed a wonderful night at Angel Heart Farm learning about equine photography! Thank you Caroline Elizabeth Photography for teaching us about how to turn our passion for horses into a fun and rewarding career and to Angel Heart Farm for hosting our clinic and letting us practice our photography skills on their horses! After months of preparation, our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project competed in the 4-H Central Region Horse Judging Contest today. We are proud of all of our students for participating in the region contest!

Congratulations to our Junior High Team (Eddy A, Jovi A, Leahness D, & Sienna R) for winning 2nd place overall and to our Senior Team (Mia C, Sydney C, Paili D, & Mary Elizabeth K) for winning 1st place!

Tonight our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project learned about the Lunar New Year and celebrated the Year of the Horse! Everyone learned how to make oragami fire horses and how we can use the attributes of the horse to make it a great year! Happy Lunar New Year! 🐴🍀🧧🎆

Our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project had a great day at the State 4-H Hippology and Horse Bowl Contests! Our Junior Team is the 2026 Hippology Champions, with all 4 team members placing in the Top 10! Congratulations to Charlotte, Charlie, Nellie Rose, and Sadie! They also placed 3rd in Horse Bowl.

Our Senior Team (Paili, Mary Elizabeth, and Sydney) placed 4th in Hippology, and our Junior High Team (Joan, Edelyn, Jovi, and Leahness) placed 6th in Hippology! Alex, Julia Claire, Joan, and Jovi also competed in Horse Bowl.

Congratulations to the following students for placing in the Top 10!

Our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project had an amazing day at the Central Region Hippology and Horse Bowl Contest! All 4 of our teams qualified for the State Contest in February! We are so proud of these kiddos! They put in many hours of practice together and then even more hours studying at home. They are proof that hard work pays off!

Happy Holidays from our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project! 🌲🎅🐴
Tonight our students came together to celebrate the season and make "Cookies for Christmas" gift bags for the Nashville Foster Love Closet. It's hard to believe 2025 is coming to a close, but these kiddos are ready for all that 2026 has to offer! We hope all our 4-H families, friends, and volunteers have a wonderful holiday season! ❤️🐴🍀

Congratulations to our Williamson County 4-H Horse Project members who competed at the TN State 4-H Horse Show this week in Shelbyville! Sadie A. won the Junior Hunter Division High Point Champion and Paili D. won the Senior Mini Division High Point Champion!🐴

Sadie was also awarded a Golden Horseshoe Ticket for good sportsmanship and Paili won the mini costume contest by safely capturing Ed the Zebra again! 🍀🦓
