There will be no Pickin on the square tonight. The next one will be Sept 26. The one planned tonight was moved up to last weekend with fireworks. Have a good weekend.

There was supposed to be an additional surprise with the fireworks, but unfortunately, there was an issue with synchronization. This is stills of the drone show that would have accompanied the fireworks. If you happened to be in town around 10:15, you may have seen it.

Thank you to everyone for their patience this evening while waiting for the fireworks to begin. Munnerlyn Pyrotechnics provided a great show. Special thanks to Angel Medical Center for use of the staging site.

It’s here! The Labor Day fireworks show 🎆🎇 Music and food trucks will start at 6:00. Fireworks will start when it gets dark, roughly 8:30. Can’t wait to see everyone come out and enjoy a free event downtown( excluding food).
