Check out some of the upcoming teen programs! Registration for Slime Time, Sweet Summer Days, and Hamilton: An American Program begins Monday, June 1.

🟢 Slime flies when you’re having fun! Although slime won’t actually fly during this program, we invite you to join us on Thursday, July 9, from 5-6 p.m. to make ecofriendly slime and learn about the impacts of plastics on the environment! Teen attendees will make slime out of biodegradable materials and use what they’ve learned during the program for a chance to win a gift card!

🟡Come put the cherry on top of your summer! Join us on July 28 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Branch to make your own ice cream and sundae it! Stick around to customize some homemade mochi and embrace your sweet tooth!

🔵 Do not miss your shot at participating in this fun filled Hamilton themed program! Join us on July 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Franklin Branch for Hamilton trivia followed by nerf gun duels! This program is open to all teen (11-18) and adult (18+) patrons. Come see if you have what it takes to come out on top as we sort the Burrs from the Hamiltons!

BookFlix fosters children’s love of reading through an interactive online database. It pairs fictional and non-fiction books that are structured around nine different categories, some of which include: Animals and Nature, People and Places, ABCs and 123s, and Celebrations. Children are able to watch a fictional story and read along with the corresponding non-fiction ebook. In addition, there are Spanish corresponding pairs, educational games, author biographies, and much more!
