Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County

Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County We exist through the support of community churches, church affiliates, businesses, service organizations, local foundations, individuals and families.

The pantry serves families from throughout the county. Hungry people are babies, toddlers, children, teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. Look into the eyes of those who come to the pantry, and you find each has their own story.

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
Psalm 31:24

Our mission is to alleviate hunger in Johnson County, and we strive not only to provide food to sustain our neighbors, but also to offer words of encouragement that lift their spirits. Our hope is to nourish both body and soul, reminding every person who visits the pantry that they matter and they are not alone.

A little sweetness goes a long way 🍫
This week, our pantry volunteers were treated to a chocolate “thank you” — just a small token of appreciation for the big hearts that keep our mission moving forward every day.
And one volunteer showed up in the perfect t-shirt to match the moment, reminding us all that gratitude never goes out of style.
We are so thankful for each and every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and compassion to serve our Johnson County neighbors. 💛

There are so many meaningful ways to support the pantry—volunteering your time, donating food or personal care items, giving financially, or organizing a food drive. But at the heart of it all is a shared commitment to caring for our Johnson County neighbors.
A special thank you to Franklin College for their incredible donation of over 2,000 pounds of food! What an amazing example of community in action.
From organizations and clubs to churches and individuals—every act of support matters, and every contribution is celebrated. Together, we are making a difference. 💙
