The Franklin Police Department responded to 42 calls for service over the past weekend and made the following arrests:

Juvenile was arrested on September 11, 2026, at 8:40 AM, on the charge of terrorizing.

Juvenile was arrested on September 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM, on the charge of terrorizing.

Vertress Loston, 47, of Lockette Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 14, 2026, at 12:52 AM, on the charge of remaining where forbidden. Loston was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of stalking and remaining where forbidden. Loston was booked, processed, and held on a $25,500.00 bond.

The Franklin Police Department responded to 22 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:

Quincy Roberts, 32, of Labau St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 10, 2026, at 9:56 AM, on the charges of resisting an officer, possession of schedule I narcotics (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of schedule II narcotics (methamphetamine). Roberts was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

Juvenile was arrested on September 10, 2026, at 2:38 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting.

Dominic Tanui, 17, of Gum St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 10, 2026, at 2:38 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Tanui was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.

Jonathan Piriou, 27, of Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 10, 2026, at 7:12 PM, on the charge of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Piriou was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

The Franklin Police Department responded to 45 calls for service over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:

Tony Johnson, 57, of Ninth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 5, 2026, at 4:58 PM, on a warrant dated August 8, 2026, for battery of a dating partner. Johnson was booked, processed, and released on a $3,500.00 bond.

Carl Joseph, Jr., 32, of Curtis Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 6, 2026, at 2:42 PM, on the charge of remaining where forbidden. Joseph was booked, processed, and held on a $500.00 bond.

August Gloskey, II, 66, of Second St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 6, 2026, at 5:24 PM, on the charges of obscenity – 2 counts and criminal trespassing. Gloskey was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

Don Hargroder, 70, of Princeton Woods Loop, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2026, at 5:03 PM, on the charges of speeding and careless operation. Hargroder was booked, processed, and released on a $645.50 bond.

Riley Lee, 52, of Gumpoint Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2026, at 7:39 PM, on the charges of remaining where forbidden, aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, aggravated flight from an officer, off-road vehicles, security required, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, driving on roadway laned for traffic, stop sign violation – 6 counts, and signals by hand and arm or signal lamps. Lee was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

Jeremie Hanks, 49, of Brownell St., Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2026, at 10:01 PM, on a warrant for City Court of Morgan City for failure to appear on the charge of allowing dogs to roam. Hanks was booked, processed, and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.

Tyjon Alexander, 26, of Baker Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2026, at 7:34 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of no seat belt. Alexander was booked, processed, and released on a $100.00 bond.

Irvyon James, 23, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2026, at 7:34 PM, on the charges of window tint, proper equipment display of plate required on vehicles, possession of schedule I narcotics (ma*****na) with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. James was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

Briana Turner, 28, of Ledoux Circle, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 2, 2026, at 9:09 PM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with improper stop lamps and operating a vehicle while license is suspended. Turner was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.

Donald Welch, 60, of Robert St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 3, 2026, at 2:32 AM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Welch was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

Patrick Lumpkin, 44, of Andrus Dr., Crowley, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2026, at 1:25 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and speeding, and on a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft. Lumpkin was booked, processed, and held on a $1,648.00 bond.

Ananenia Dauphine, 32, of Canal Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 29, 2026, at 8:41 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of careless operation and driving under suspension. Dauphine was booked, processed, and released on a $313.00 bond.

Dyjawyne Darby, 24, of Ninth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 26, 2026, at 3:04 AM, on the charge of prevention of youth access to to***co law. Darby was booked, processed, and released on a $500.00 bond.

The Franklin Police Department will be participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.

The campaign’s focus is to raise awareness of the dangers of driving impaired, by the use of intoxicating beverages and illegal substances. Officers with the Franklin Police Department will be strictly enforcing sobriety laws and other traffic violations.

Remember “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
