It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our retired Franklin Police Department K9 “Stinger”

For over eight years, Stinger was the loyal and fearless partner of Lt. Russell Crouse. He served with heart, protected with courage, and brought comfort to everyone who knew him.

We are forever grateful for his dedicated service and the unbreakable bond he shared with Lt. Crouse and our entire FPD family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lt. Crouse and all who loved this remarkable K9.

Rest easy, Stinger. You will always be remembered as one of the best.

Sincerely ;
Chief Kirby Cochran
and Franklin Police Department Staff
