You may not know... Franklin is one of two cities selected by the National Civic League and the Bridge Alliance to participate in the “The Healthy Democracy Project," in collaboration with Franklin Tomorrow.

So far survey respondents represent highly engaged residents, which is great! If you're not an active or involved member of our community (yet) we want to hear from you as well!

The first step in this process is to complete a survey on civic engagement, specifically how citizens connect, collaborate and contribute to civic life. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed at https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8165567/HealthyDemocracyFranklin

Proud to walk alongside true heroes today in the City of Franklin, TN - Municipal Government annual Veterans day parade. Along with thousands of Franklinites, I celebrate and recognize our Veterans in our historic downtown.

Hi neighbors!

The City of Franklin needs your help to get our citizen count through the 2025 Special Census.

It’s very simple, please scan the QR code and register the people in your household. The Special Census is used to document the increases in Franklin population. The City will receive approximately $175 per person which translates into over a million dollars the State of Tennessee provides in tax revenue based on the City’s population. Whether you own a home or rent, every citizen of Franklin counts! Scan the QR code or go to:

The news of this allegation is devastating for the City of Franklin, the Catholic community and personally as a parishioner of St. Philip and Franklin City Official.

I am sad, angry, and my heart aches for those involved.

The City of Franklin takes any allegations like this very seriously. We are working with leadership and families at St. Philip, the Diocese of Nashville, and the Tennessee Department of Children's Services to thoroughly investigate this matter. Due to this being an active and ongoing investigation, the Franklin Police Department cannot comment any further at this time.

I ask that anyone with additional information contact Detective Andrea Clark with the Franklin Police Department, 615-476-2809.
