National Historic Hiram Masonic Lodge #7

National Historic Hiram Masonic Lodge #7 Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 7 is a historic Gothic revival building on South 2nd Avenue in Franklin, Tennessee. It continues to serve the local Masonic lodge.

Constructed in 1823, it is the oldest public building in Franklin. It is nationally significant as the site of negotiations leading to the Treaty of Franklin, the first Indian removal treaty agreed after passage of the 1830 Indian Removal Act. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1973.

Join us at Historic Hiram Lodge #7 on Saturday, September 30, from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. for Donuts and Demo Day! We received approval to remove the plywood protective wall that has, for years, blocked the public from fully viewing the front of Historic Hiram Lodge. Help us tear down the wall and spruce up our lodge.

Pancakes, donuts, juice, coffee, and other breakfast will be provided. All donations will benefit the National Historic Hiram Masonic Lodge #7 Foundation, a newly formed 501(c)3 that is dedicated to the restoring and preserving of our building, which stands as a constant reminder of where we have been, the opportunities before us, and the good that links the two together.
