From Marshal Carla Weidenboerner:

Effective Monday March 29, 2021, the Marshal Office will no longer be open from 8:30-4:30.
Our NEW office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday. Friday 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.(noon). Also as a reminder to the public if you are coming into City Court.. Court starts at 9:00 a.m., NO cell phones allowed, NO purses or bags allowed, PROPER ATTIRE required.

August 24, 2020 - NOTICE from Franklin City Court

Due to the upcoming approaching storms of Marco and Laura, - The City Court of Franklin will be closed Monday, August 24, Tuesday, August 25, Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27. All Civil, Small Claims, Criminal, Traffic, and Juvenile cases scheduled on these dates have been continued effective immediately.

Franklin City Court will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

NOTICE

Please be advised that the Franklin City Court has opened. Cases will be heard and new filings taken. All criminal matters will also be heard. The next court date is May 28, 2020 for criminal trials and reviews of sentencing.

All civil matters within the court’s jurisdiction are now available, except for evictions, which cannot be filed or heard until July 25, 2020.

Masks are to be worn in court. Seating will be limited to comply with the Supreme Court Orders. Due to size restrictions and limited seating arrangements, only persons doing business with the court will be permitted to be in court. To accommodate the public, the court has acquired video conferencing with the use of Zoom. To gain access, contact the Court’s civil department for the access code for each court date.

This notice has been issued by the Court on May 21, 2020. Please feel free to contact our staff at 337-828-3858 if you have any questions concerning our operations.
