From a donated lunch and “Always Remember” message sign from Spring Hill citizens to heartfelt cards of appreciation from students at Southern Hills Church of Christ, these thoughtful gestures meant so much to our team.
On a day of remembrance, we’re grateful for a community that remembers us, too.

The unseen responders of September 11, 2001: Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger.

We also remember the voices on the other end of the emergency line.

911 dispatchers answered calls from those trapped inside the World Trade Center. They heard fear, confusion and desperation. They stayed on the phone, offering reassurance while knowing there were limits to what they could do.

For those dispatchers, the trauma wasn't something they witnessed from a distance. They heard it. They carried it. They lived with it.

They heard voices that would become memories.

And when one call ended, they answered the next.

Today, we honor those nearly 3,000 lives lost and the dispatchers who spent those hours listening, helping and holding a lifeline open for people in unimaginable circumstances.

We remember the voices.
We remember the courage.
We will never forget. 🖤🇺🇸

🐝 Telecommunicator Samara Carpenter is receiving a Bee-ing Awesome Positive Recognition for consistently stepping up and supporting the team. 👏

In just the past three weeks, Samara has helped coordinate an outside agency response during a Franklin robbery, supported Training with an intern sit-along, assisted Public Education with the Battle of the Badges blood drive announcement, stayed over for coverage, and jumped in when the Fire Pod was swarmed with critical incidents. 📞🚨

Samara was also recognized by a former dispatcher and current Spring Hill Police Department officer after a Spring Hill saturation night, who said Samara “freaking killed it” while handling the high-volume traffic. 🔥

We’re so proud of what you’ve accomplished in such a short time, Samara! Your initiative, teamwork and willingness to help are exactly what makes you Bee-ing Awesome! 🐝💛

Off the clock. On target. 🪓😂 Some of our 911 crew traded headsets for hatchets over the weekend and brought some family along for a little off-the-clock fun. Sometimes you need a few weapons of stress reduction! 😉
After spending their shifts helping everyone else through the tough stuff, these folks earned some time to blow off steam, have some laughs and see who could hit the mark. 🎯

🚔 When the radio gets busy, calm is a superpower. 🎧⭐ Supervisor Tonalea Boone recently earned an Outstanding Performance Award for her work on the radio during a vehicle pursuit, and for good reason.

She kept the radio under control, communicated clearly and confidently, and made sure the details stayed straight throughout a fast-moving incident. Every request, update and outcome was documented as it came in.

Confidence. Competence. Professionalism. Tonalea brought all three to the call. Nice job! ⭐ 👏

Thank you to all who donated during the Williamson County Battle of the Badges Monday. The blood drive collected 212 total units, equivalent to saving 636 lives. Williamson Health EMS won the trophy with 85 votes, and Franklin Fire came in a close second at 76. ECOMM received 20 votes, which is not bad for a first-time effort!

All three are from communities in and around Williamson County, and they’re now beginning the training that will prepare them to be the calm voice on the other end of the line when someone needs help most.

Becoming a telecommunicator takes patience, focus, teamwork and a whole lot of heart, and we’re excited to see these three take on the challenge.

🩸 They came. They saw. They rolled up their sleeves. 💪 And that’s a wrap on the Battle of the Badges! 🚔🚒🚑☎️
The competition may be over, but our telecommunicators showed up ready to do what they do best: help people. 💛
Whether they donated for the win, for bragging rights, or simply because someone needed blood, every donation made a difference, and that’s a victory we can all get behind.
Now comes the hard part … waiting to find out who took the trophy! 👀🏆
Results are still TBD, but one thing is certain: Williamson County’s public safety family brought the competition, the camaraderie and, most importantly, the compassion.
Way to go, ECOMM! 🩸👏💪🏽
