Get ready for the Franklin County Treasure Trail — one BIG county-wide yard sale happening across all FIVE cities of Franklin County! 🗺️💚

On Saturday, October 17 from 7 AM–Noon, residents within each participating city can host a yard sale and be added to our official Treasure Trail map!
And here’s the best part: all city yard sale permits and fees will be WAIVED for the day! 🙌
🏡 To participate, your yard sale must be located within the city limits of one of the five participating cities.

Important info- Our department has been made aware of a Microsoft Defender Scam that has found it's way into our community.

If you see a Microsoft Defender alert urging you to call "Microsoft" do not click any links or dial the provided number! This scam can lead to fraudsters impersonating bank representatives and stealing your money by gaining access to your personal information via access of your computer or by means of having you take money out of your accounts to place in other accounts for what they refer to as safe keeping or security.

WHAT TO DO:
1. DO NOT SHARE PERSONAL OR BANKING INFO via links, emails, phone calls or text.
2. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY
3. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER: Use Ctrl+Alt+Delete and restart, even if prompted not to.
4. CLEAR YOUR BROWSER: Remove cache, cookies, and history to prevent pop-ups from returning.
5. RUN A HEALTH CHECK: Scan your computer or consult an IT professional.
