Our Cat Cafe is NEXT WEEK! 🐈

While we prepare with our friends at , we are also gathering donations for the Rescue! They feed upwards of 100 cats every day, so every donation matters. We are collecting these donations now through June 24th (the day of the cat cafe!).

A few most needed donations: Fancy Feast, Royal Canin, dry cat food, paper towels, KMR powder and more! You can also donate monetarily by scanning the QR code - tell them the Franklin Lakes Public Library sent you! ☕️

We’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday a little early with the whole town! 🇺🇸

The event takes place tomorrow, Saturday June 13th, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at MUNI Fields (behind Borough Hall). Time to bring the whole community together for an unforgettable day of patriotism, entertainment, and family fun.

Freedom Fest will feature an incredible lineup of live entertainment, including performances by Grace Notes Brass Ensemble, The Benjamins, 17 North Band, and Phantom DJ, creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the day. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of food trucks, artisan and craft vendors, kids’ games and activities, and a spectacular fireworks show to close out the night + more! 🎉

We are thrilled to be hosting for a Cat Cafe on Wednesday, June 24th for 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm! Join us for hot beverages and snacks surrounded by some furry friends. Who knows…you may even meet your new best friend! 🐈

Special instructions for registering: call the Reference Desk at (201)891-2224 for a 30 minute slots! No children under 10 allowed and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you for understanding! 🐾

The Franklin Lakes Public Library is closing early on Friday, May 29th for Staff Development, including further set up of our Book Sale this weekend! Friday will be treated as our “preview” day for the sale (10 am - 12 pm).

50 cent Adult & YA Books
25 cent Children’s Books
Fill a tote for $5 on Sunday!

Sale closes 30 minutes before the library. Proceeds from the sale go right back into the library for programming, new books, and more! No scanners allowed.
