You can never have too much supervision on the job of putting in the oats, you can see we had three supervisors overseeing the project this morning, left to right, Paul Erisman, John Ferris, and Jake Scott, could not have done it without them, thanks boys!

We were able to drill the oats in this morning at the show grounds. They went in the West End of our grain ground. The ground worked up just wonderful this year. Best we've ever seen it perhaps, so we're looking for a good crop. In this video, we have Brad Estock pulling the drill with his case Tractor everything went without a hitch.

Just a reminder that we have a scheduled meeting of the LHAEA this Sat. evening, March 7th, 7:00pm, at the Franklin Grove Library. This didn't get mentioned in the Jan. newsletter, but March is when we hold our Show and Tell program, so if you'd like to bring something to have our members guessing as to what it is, bring it along! See ya there.

This is the January 2026 newsletter for the LHAEA. You will notice on page one there is information on the regular club meeting of January 17th at the Franklin Grove library. There is also information on general club meetings for the rest of the year included on page one. This was done in case we don't find anyone to write and publish the newsletter, so if you do not belong to the club or get a newsletter, save page one so you have the dates for future meetings, thanks, MJ
