Last week, we held our "Breakfast with Dad" event to recognize June as Responsible Fatherhood month!

Families were able to share a meal with their dads, create arts-and-crafts keepsakes, and listen to a presentation on responsible fatherhood by Ms. Jackson-Kyle!

The Commissioner on Fatherhood Initiatives at the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, Rick Hoover, and Cindy Lindamood from Scioto County Ohio Means Jobs stopped by and spoke with everyone in attendance.

A big thank you to all of our staff who came out and pitched in to ensure this event was a tremendous success for our residents! ⭐️

⭐️ This week, two of our vocational residents completed all requirements to obtain their State of Ohio High School Diploma! ⭐️

Mr. Bowers - Residential Electricity
Mr. Ervin - Plumbing

In addition to their high school diplomas, Mr. Bowers and Mr. Ervin have earned nationally recognized industry credentials in their respective fields!

In celebration of May being recognized as Mental Health Awareness month, our resident communities took part in planting flowers and decorating flower pots to help beautify our facility! 🌼🌻

Today's spotlight for receiving the State of Ohio High School Diploma shines on Mr. Black! Mr. Black successfully completed our residential electricity vocational program through Scioto County Career Technical Center!

Yesterday we had a great time hosting another Storytime at STAR event! Some of our moms got to read books, play games, and color pictures with their little kids. It was awesome!
